The main reason I got this is because I have fungal acne on my chest. I get itchy red bumps that look similar to acne. I typically use selenium sulfide shampoo but hate the smell of it so I was excited to try this. I tried it in combination with the body wash and the fungal acne came back all over my chest within 2 days. Maybe there is a detox point with the whole breaking biofilm thing but I just wasn’t willing to wait longer to see. However, I use this on my cheeks and forehead for seb derm and it works and haven’t broken out from it. Also really helped my dandruff and itchy scalp but I try not to use it there because it takes a lot of product to use on the scalp. It’s also very very runny it’s almost the consistency of water. Which I don’t mind but wasn’t expecting at first.

I’ve been dealing with SD (at least that’s what my dermatologist said it was) for the last 2 years. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on skincare products and nothing has helped the redness, tightness, and flaking around my nose, mouth and eyebrows. I finally tried these products and have been using the face wash, serum and moisturizer every day for over 6 weeks now, and while I think it may be helping the redness marginally it’s still very noticeably red and flaking. I have to constantly apply moisturizer throughout the day which is not only disruptive to my day but I’m constantly anxious wondering what my skin looks like even under makeup. Most people seem to need relief for their scalp so maybe these products especially the serum are the best for that, I do find even after these weeks the serum still burns my skin and makes it red and inflamed after applying. Tea tree oil is very sensitizing even in small diluted quantities so I may be extra sensitive to it. I will likely keep using the moisturizer and face wash for lack of other Malassezia safe products on the market. Just wish I saw more drastic results (and I wish there was an SPF because finding a safe one has been another battle!)
