Apply a generous amount of serum to your moody skin or scalp before bed, making sure to cover all of the affected area.

In the morning*, rinse your hair with water or wash with a malassezia-safe shampoo before styling. If applied to the face, the soothing ingredients will absorb overnight.

Apply the serum and massage it into your scalp and face thoroughly the night before (or at least two hours before) you plan to wash your hair - even if that is every week or two.

It works well and helped to decrease the itching significantly. However, I made the mistake of only buying one bottle and I think it needs more time to work due to how severe my scalp condition is. The cold weather isn’t helping either. But the attached picture of my scalp, albeit still flaky, is significantly reduced in comparison to before. It’s not magic but works better than anything else I’ve tried. For me, there is an initial burning sensation upon application, but it subsides after a minute. I let it sit for about an hour before I go to bed so that it can soak in better, rather than it getting my pillow wet if I put in on right before sleeping.

I have a severe case of seb derm on my entire scalp. I went through a very stressful time and had (am having?) a bad flare up. The first picture is on Dec 10, shortly before I started using the serum, and the second one is today. I am still struggling with a lot of flakes and some itching but my scalp does not hurt. In the first picture my entire scalp was on fire 24/7 and I lost some hair. After 4 days my scalp thankfully no longer hurt. I will keep using it—considering how severe my case is and how much pain I was in I am happy with the progress. I have extreme build up so in a way the flakes are a relief. I really wish there was a trial size or travel size of the shampoo and conditioner!
