Apply a generous amount of serum to your moody skin or scalp before bed, making sure to cover all of the affected area.

In the morning*, rinse your hair with water or wash with a malassezia-safe shampoo before styling. If applied to the face, the soothing ingredients will absorb overnight.

*If you prefer to shower at night, just be sure to allow the serum to absorb into your scalp for at least two hours before rinsing or washing.

Apply the serum and massage it into your scalp and face thoroughly the night before (or at least two hours before) you plan to wash your hair - even if that is every week or two.

I've tried every dandruff shampoo out there for my sebderm (which for me is more scalp buildup rather than flakes) and they either didn't do anything or would work for a little while and then would lose effectiveness. This is the first product that's completely cleared my scalp and helps control the buildup. I've been using it about once a week. I used to assume I just had sensitive skin or allergies or hormonal acne that would make me break out when putting just about anything on my face. It seems to be drying up the itchy spots on the scalp. Big scabs form, I comb it and then put on the Calming Serum. So, still in the experimental stage, but I do believe it is going to get rid of the condition. Fingers crossed. (I ordered this for my son, who is special needs, and lives with us. He's 37 y/o.)
