Why your dandruff shampoo has failed you

After 2 uses I immediately started seeing results & could tell that my scalp was healing. My usual problem areas are starting to heal and slowly decrease along with the amount I flakes I usually saw. Looking forward to being able to wear darker colored shirts and not have to constantly brush off embarrassing flakes. So happy I found something actually worth spending my money on to help this issue

I’ve tried every available prescription topical treatment and nothing helped my Seb Derm of the scalp. What really caught my attention was the connection the product made to bio-film preventing the clearing of malassezia yeast overgrowth. In high school I swam competitively and developed Tinea Versicolor on my back and shoulders which was how the malassezia overgrowth displayed. When I stopped swimming, my scalp developed seborrheic dermatitis which is a long-term skin disorder. My symptoms included an ongoing severe itch with thick greasy scales that nothing helped until I used derma zen Cleansing Shampoo and Calming Serum. I wash my hair every other day, twice with a shampoo application, using the included scalp brush. I follow up with a q-tip application of the Calming Serum in the two spots that gave me trouble. Two applications in and the itching ceased, I lose less hair during shampooing and conditioning, and no more scales!

I bought 3 products from this website. The serum, the shampoo and the scalp moisturizer. My problem is severe itching of the scalp and some scalp acne which is most likely from dying my hair black my entire life. I do not have any dandruff but the itching gets worse on day 3 after washing my hair. It gets greasy really fast. I moved the serum into a spray bottle because it is so much easier to apply exactly on the spots I need and none of the product is wasted. I slept with the serum and washed it off in the morning 3 times now. I think the amount of serum would be enough for 6 applications but I only spray the top and sides of my scalp, not the back. The shampoo would probably last me 6 washes too. I have a long hair and I try to use the smallest amount possible but it doesn’t foam much. So far I do have less itching and pimples but it is not gone at all. I feel like as far as ingredients, I won’t be able to find anything better on the market, so I will try to stick with it for now. I do wish the price was lower for the amount of product. It’s a really small bottle! The scalp moisturizer is not usable for me. For some reason every time I put any kind of coconut oil on my skin or hair, after 30 min it starts to smell rancid…kind of like vomit smell in my hair, and it doesn’t go away until several times of washing. I wish to return this one but I have opened it already. It would be nice to see a conditioner but one that doesn’t contain anything coconut derived.

I’m 37 and I’ve had dandruff my whole life and about 10 years ago it got really bad. After doing research I found out it had become more of an infection. Like a yeast infection on my scalp! My scalp would smell and it was so irritated the flakes were the least of my concerns. It was awful.

I literally tried every product known to man. Even harsh chemicals and if you knew me you’d know that’s very out of character for me. But I was so uncomfortable I didn’t care anymore. I just wanted it gone!

Dermazen had great reviews so I gave it a try, honestly I expecting nothing but what did I have to lose. Wow! My scalp is SO happy!! I used the whole bottle of shampoo and when it was gone, so was my scalp issues.

Because it’s expensive and I have other shampoos I like better, I don’t but it anymore, but I do keep up with the Calming Seborrheic Serum and that stuff works like a charm. I itched my scalp for so long sometimes I get phantom itches haha and then I remind myself, it’s gone!!

I have suffered with seborrheic dermatitis for years and absolutely nothing has helped, not even prescription shampoos, until I found this stuff. I was a little hesitant but I’m so glad I found this brand I can actually enjoy my hair again. I was able to get a style with extensions, which is something I have not been able to do since high school. I also recommend Sezia.com, which is also where this brand is listed, if you have dermatitis as well.
