It’s hard for me to get good photos of the back of my head! Having the shampoo and the MCT oil in addition to the serum made an enormous difference. First photo is Dec 2024 before I started. Second is Jan 2025 after using just the serum and third is a couple days ago with shampoo, serum and MCT. The flare up is receding and the part that is still there is much less intense.

I am obviously still having a lot of flakes but it has gotten better. Up until a couple weeks ago I could see a LOT of flakes falling when I blew dry my hair. Like from the instant I started blow drying my hair. Now I don’t start shedding until my hair is about 3/4 of the way dry.

I was just recently diagnosed with SB of the scalp. I have had some anxious moments not knowing what this was. As a very clean person, I felt unclean with the contant debris coming down from my head. I was seen by a dermatologist that spent all of three minutes with me. She provided very little information and sent me off with prescription strength meds that I thought would take care of it. To my dismay I fell into a vicious cycle of dryness and incessant itch and discomfort. She didn't tell me that most products contain the oils that feed the fungus. In my desperation, I found Dermazen online while searching for natural alternatives for this thing that came to disrupt the peace in my life. Hi! I’ve tried anything and everything and figured i would have to forever deal with dandruff, crusted parts, itching forger but it wasn’t until i saw an ad and it explained how coconut oil makes things worse that caught my attention. I was always so confused why that didn’t work on my scalp. I’ve used the products now for almost 2 months and i get my hair done every 2 weeks. I see a HUGE difference worth the try. Can’t wait to try the conditioner soon on my next order.

I'm gonna start this out by saying that I love this brand and all of the products I've tried to far. I've been on a journey to find a cost-friendly option of hair care that is safe and non-toxic, while also helping alleviate my dandruff. That being said, within one week of using products from Dermazen, my hair has completely transformed for the better. I don't have any dandruff, my hair is overall healthier, and it's even gone from straight to slightly wavy at the ends. The only reason why this is a 4 star review instead of a 5 is because of the price. For the amount of product you get, the price is very high. I am looking for lower cost alternatives. I also bought the MCT Scalp Moisturizer and I believe that is 100% is worth its weight in gold. I can't really say if this product is just as worth it.

I can’t say enough about my experiences with Dermazen products. I am still a relative newbie but the products have changed my life and brought me so much relief. I was dealing with periodic flair ups on my scalp. These flair ups would last about a week and got so bad that I started seeing a dermatologist for a diagnosis and some relief. Two years later I was still seeing the same doctor but with no much relief, if any. I was prescribed a steroid cream that I was not comfortable using long term because it supposedly thins the skin. After a lot of trial and error It was suggested a biopsy be performed to formally diagnose what was going on my scalp. The biopsy came back as being a cross between psoriasis and seborreic dermatitis. Afterwards, I was just prescribed a steroid and more useless creams and lotions.

I thought I’d found relief in another product but that only lasted for a short time. I was about to give up when I stumbled joint the Dermazen website, and I’m glad that I did. Almost immediately I receive relief when I first brought the Calming Serum. I couldn’t stop there and since then I have added the MCT oil, and calming lotion along with both the shampoo and conditioner. I have not had a flair-up since I started using the products. I was also diagnosed with male pattern baldness but I read somewhere that the Malassezia fungus can sometimes cause hair loss.
