I've been using both products for about 1 month and at first the relief was intant. After the second week my flareups were out of control and they just stopped working. The serum has been useful for relieving scalp itch and discomfort. After developing a hyper immune response to malasezia, I’ve suffered from an intensely uncomfortable, inflamed scalp and hair loss for a couple years. This serum isn’t a cure-all, but it works fast to lessen the itch. The efficacy is about the same as my DIY hack of using xliotol nasal spray on my scalp- I was hoping for more improvement than that, but, this is easier, less weird, and more cost effective for amount of product. So, I’ll take it. I also find the consistency fine for using as a leave-in product, it looks like a pomade or gel paste and gives some shape/taming to my hair while relieving itch all day long. Since I’ve not been able to use any products like that for a while, due to malasezia overgrowth/sensitivity, this is pretty great. (For reference, I’m a white dude with thick, wavy, dark brown hair, ethnically Hispanic/Jewish. I’m not sure this would make sense as a product to leave the house wearing for someone with finer hair or long hair.) It does dry sticky, like a pomade, but I’ve not found it to be oily at all.
The shampoo is also pretty good. For best results, I’ve had to alternate using it with some other anti-fungal/anti-dandruff shampoos I was already using. It doesn’t cause any allergy or asthma symptoms for me, which is a high bar. So, while it’s not worked perfectly so far, this is definitely a good option for folks with mast cell conditions/chemical sensitivities and a solid…

Best dandruff care system hands down. I’ve had horrible dandruff for years and tried every product I could find. This is the only one that has worked. It seems expensive but it actually lasts about 3-4 months so not as expensive as you’d think.
